About this fabric

The velvet ground reads as a saturated burgundy-red, while the paisley outlines and inner curls move between darker plum shadow and brighter berry highlights as the nap catches the light. At 639 gsm, it has the substantial visual and tactile weight expected of a heavy upholstery velvet. The pattern repeats at 40.5 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, creating a clearly structured all-over arrangement of medium-scale motifs. It is supplied at a 140 cm usable width, with a standard length of 25 m and 145 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use this deep burgundy colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its dark wine depth can anchor a room. Pair it with aged brass, dark timber and warm neutral walls to bring out the plum shadows and berry-toned pattern highlights.
