About this fabric
This colourway is a saturated wine red with a dark, enveloping cast, sitting closer to burgundy than bright red. The surface appears smooth and matte from the swatch, with only a soft shift in tone where the light catches it. Made from 100% polyester and weighing 300gsm, it has enough body for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. A Martindale score of 45,000 points to a hard-wearing finish, while the 145cm usable width makes it practical for larger projects. The design has no visible repeat, so the focus stays on the depth and richness of the colour.
How to use it
Use this shade to bring warmth to a pared-back interior, especially alongside oak, walnut or brushed brass. It also works well as a moody counterpoint to pale stone, plaster pink or warm neutral upholstery.
