About this fabric

This colourway is a rich purple with a wine-plum cast, appearing almost black in the shadows and brighter mulberry where the light lifts it. The surface looks smooth and closely woven, which suits the design’s plain appearance and keeps the focus on the depth of colour. Made from 100% polyester, this fabric is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, and its 45,000 Martindale rub test makes it a practical choice for heavier domestic use. With a weight of 300gsm and no pattern repeat, it has the substance to hang neatly while still feeling substantial on seating.

How to use it

Use Loreto Purple where you want a moody, jewel-toned anchor: it pairs especially well with brass, dark wood and soft neutrals. Its deep plum tone works equally well as a full curtain drop or as a bold upholstery fabric on a statement chair.
