Sylvana purple
Midsummer Meadows Fabricsylvana/fa1/vio
Sylvana Purple pairs painterly lilac flowerheads with fresh green stems and leaves on a pale natural ground. The result is a soft, airy floral with a gentle spring feel rather than a heavy, saturated purple look.

About this fabric
This colourway shows clustered hydrangea-style blooms in a cool lilac and lavender mix, set against a lightly textured natural ground that lets the print feel fresh and breathable. The 95% cotton, 5% linen composition gives it a crisp woven handle, while the 140cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects. A large horizontal and vertical repeat of 68.5cm keeps the floral heads bold and spacious across the cloth. With no fire-retardant treatment noted and dry-clean-only care advised, it is best specified where the decorative effect and fabric finish can be preserved.
How to use it
Use Sylvana Purple to bring a soft wash of colour to curtains, cushions, or a statement upholstered chair in a light-filled room. Its lilac tones work especially well with painted whites, pale oak, and other botanical prints.
Fresh lilac blooms on a natural cotton-linen base suit relaxed interiors and soft, country-inspired schemes.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sylvana purple without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
