About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a practical 140cm usable width and is supplied with a Martindale rating of 45,000, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The visible cloth has a tight, fine weave with a low-sheen finish that lets the purple sit between aubergine and wine depending on the light. In this colourway, the darker upper area and slightly lighter central field give the fabric a layered, moody character rather than a flat solid. It should be dry cleaned only and dry ironed, and it is not fire retardant.

How to use it

Use this plum shade for full-length curtains where the colour can read deep and cocooning, or pair it with pale neutrals to let the texture stand out. It also works well on statement cushions or a tailored blind in a more intimate room setting.
