Elmore blue

Elmore Blue is a small-scale geometric fabric with a cool denim-blue ground, pale grey outlines and bright orange accent blocks. The woven texture gives it a structured, tactile look with plenty of movement up close.

About this fabric

Woven from 60% cotton, 36% polyester and 4% viscose, Elmore Blue has a crisp, textured handle that sits comfortably in the mid-weight category. The design repeats in a compact 3 cm by 2 cm pattern, creating a neat, rhythmic grid of blue, grey and orange that reads smart rather than busy. With a Martindale rating of 23,000, it is well suited to curtains, blinds and upholstery where a decorative but practical fabric is needed. The cool blue tones are softened by the chalky grey motif, while the orange details add a lively contrast without overwhelming the overall palette.

How to use it

Use Elmore Blue on a statement chair or ottoman to bring colour into a neutral scheme, especially alongside oak, stone and soft white finishes. It also works well for tailored curtains or Roman blinds where the small geometric repeat can add interest without dominating the room.

Pair with warm neutrals to let the orange accents lift the cool blue ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
