About this fabric

Woven in a 60% cotton, 36% polyester and 4% viscose blend, Elmore Grey combines a tactile surface with practical everyday versatility. The design shows a small geometric repeat in misty grey, pale cream and muted blue, with the blue notes lifting the pattern rather than dominating it. At 137cm usable width and with a 23,000 Martindale rating, it is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, and it should be dry cleaned only. The overall effect is smart but restrained, with the cool palette and lightly textured weave giving the fabric a calm, architectural finish.

How to use it

Use Elmore Grey on an armchair, bench cushion or tailored blind where its small-scale pattern can add structure without feeling busy. The cool grey-blue colouring sits well with chalk whites, bleached timber and brushed nickel.

Pair with pale wood and brushed metal for a crisp, tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elmore grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
