About this fabric

Woven in 60% cotton, 36% polyester and 4% viscose, this fabric has a clearly structured handle that suits both curtains and upholstery. The design reads as a compact stepped geometric, with lavender-purple blocks, blue infill and pale cream ground creating a layered, mosaic-like rhythm. Small yellow highlights punctuate the repeat and add warmth against the cooler lilac and slate notes. With a 23,000 Martindale rub count, it is well placed for upholstery as well as blinds and curtains, while the 3cm horizontal and 2cm vertical repeat keeps the pattern tight and easy to place. Dry clean only and iron safe.

How to use it

Use it to bring colour to a compact armchair, ottoman or tailored blind, where the purple-blue ground will stand out against limestone, dove grey or pale oak. Its cool, muted palette also works well in rooms that need a little brightness without becoming loud.

Pair with pale neutrals or warm wood for a crisp, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
