About this fabric

This colourway of Cranes Tourmaline pairs a light, chalky background with expressive bird forms in deep charcoal, smoky mauve and muted wine tones. The 82% viscose and 18% linen composition gives the fabric a smooth, softly woven character that suits its fluid painted look, while the 133cm usable width makes it practical for made-to-measure window treatments. It is specified for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, with a 66.5cm horizontal repeat and 53cm vertical repeat to consider when pattern matching. Dry clean only care and iron safe finishing make it a refined decorative textile rather than a hard-wearing upholstery cloth.

How to use it

Use it for drapery where the plum accents can stand out against plaster, stone or pale wood. It works especially well in rooms with muted greys, dusty pinks or deep green accessories to echo the watercolour palette.
