About this fabric

This plain textile has a dense crosshatched weave, with darker and lighter purple threads creating subtle movement across the surface. The deep grape shade reads rich and moody, while the restrained texture keeps it refined rather than glossy or ornate. At 517gsm, it has the visual substance expected of an upholstery cloth. It has a usable width of 139cm, a standard length of 40m and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use Albany Grape on a statement armchair, dining chair or sofa where its dark purple tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or soft neutral upholstery to balance its cool, saturated depth.

The deep grape tone and dense crosshatched weave bring tailored depth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
