About this fabric

Woven in Belgium, this fabric is composed of 54% Polyester, 36% Viscose and 10% Linen, giving the surface a dry, lightly textured look with a soft handled finish. It is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test, a 140cm width, and a substantial 490 grams per linear metre / 350 grams per square metre weight. The lavender shade is dusty rather than bright, sitting between lilac and grey so it catches the light with a quiet, chalky bloom. As a plain from the Tuscany Book Collection, it works as a refined foundation fabric where colour and texture need to do the work rather than pattern.

How to use it

Use this cool lavender with pale oak, brushed nickel and off-white linens for a fresh scheme, or pair it with deeper plum and slate for a more enveloping look. It is especially effective on tailored upholstery and relaxed curtains where the soft, greyed tone can read clearly.
