About this fabric

Florenzo Oyster from Ashley Wilde’s Tuscany Book Collection is a plain fabric woven in Belgium from 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen. The cloth has a smooth, lightly textured face with a gentle natural slub that keeps the oyster cream ground from reading flat. At 350gsm and 490g per linear metre, it has enough substance for severe contract upholstery and drapes, while the 40,000 rub test supports demanding use. The colour is a muted ivory-oatmeal cream with just enough warmth to soften its appearance under light.

How to use it

Use Florenzo Oyster to bring softness to tailored sofas, banquettes or relaxed curtains where a pale neutral is needed but pure white would feel too sharp. Its warm oyster cast works especially well with oak, linen, bronze and putty-toned palettes.

A quietly refined neutral that pairs beautifully with timber, stone and tonal layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
