Loire Nougat

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Nougat is a calm, warm neutral with a softly chalky cream tone and a fine linen-cotton texture visible across the cloth. The colour reads as a gentle nougat beige rather than a stark ivory, giving it an easy, lived-in softness.

About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, this plain fabric has the natural, slightly slubby look you expect from a cotton-linen blend, with a soft matte finish rather than any shine. Its 18,000 rub test and light domestic upholstery, drapes and blinds suitability make it a versatile choice for coordinated interiors. At 142cm wide and 340gsm, it has enough substance for tailored soft furnishings while still keeping a supple, approachable handle. The warm cream-beige shade brings a quiet depth that will sit comfortably with oak, painted woodwork and layered linens.

How to use it

Use Loire Nougat for relaxed upholstered chairs, bench cushions or Roman blinds where a warm neutral is needed without harsh brightness. Its nougat tone works especially well with natural woods, sandstone, putty and deeper earthy accents.

A soft neutral that brings warmth to upholstery and drapery alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
