About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Mouse has the dry, natural handle you would expect from a linen-blend upholstery fabric, while still feeling soft enough for drapes and blinds. The 142cm width and 18,000 rub test make it a practical light domestic option for smaller upholstery projects as well as window treatments. In this colourway, the taupe reads muted and slightly earthy rather than stark grey, with a calm mid-tone depth that softens the weave. The plain cloth has a fine crosshatch effect that catches the light gently, adding texture without any visible pattern. Made in India, it has a composed, versatile look that sits comfortably in relaxed contemporary schemes.

How to use it

Use Loire Mouse on a compact armchair, cushions or Roman blinds where its soft taupe tone can warm stone, oak and painted timber. It also pairs well with chalky whites and deeper charcoal accents for a layered, understated room.
