Loire Khaki

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Khaki is a subdued khaki-olive plain with a soft linen-cotton texture that reads earthy and calm in the swatch. The weave shows a gentle, crosshatched surface rather than a flat finish, giving the colour a natural depth.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Verona Collection, this plain fabric is woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen and is suitable for light domestic upholstery, drapes and blinds. The 18,000 rub test supports everyday use, while the 142cm width and substantial 483g per linear metre give it a reassuringly full handle. Visually, Loire Khaki sits in a muted olive-khaki register with a warm, dusty undertone, so it feels less yellow and more soft woodland green. The fine woven texture catches the light subtly, adding interest without interrupting the clean, simple surface.

How to use it

Use Loire Khaki on a neat armchair, bench cushion or Roman blind where its calm olive tone can anchor warmer woods, worn brass and natural textures. It also works well as a grounded curtain fabric in schemes built around stone, biscuit and deep green accents.

A quiet earthy neutral that works beautifully on tailored seating or simple full-length drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
