Velours Tosca Prairie

Velours Tosca FabricM4095-06

Velours Tosca Prairie shows a fine checkerboard of soft olive and pale stone tones, giving the swatch a calm, earthy feel. The small-scale pattern reads crisp from a distance and more textured up close.

About this fabric

This colourway has a muted olive ground balanced by a light stone contrast, so the check feels fresh rather than heavy. The surface has the soft, slightly lustrous look you would expect from a velour-based fabric, with the light catching the raised areas gently rather than sharply. It is composed of 92% Viscose and 8% Polyester, with an approximate width of 138cm and a repeat of V 1.5cm / H 2cm. The checked design is small in scale, which helps it sit neatly on upholstered pieces without overpowering a room. With its understated, natural palette, it brings quiet pattern and warmth to a scheme.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, bench or tailored cushion where the small olive check can add structure without dominating. It pairs well with linen-look neutrals, aged woods and brass accents for a grounded, easy finish.

A quietly earthy check that brings warmth and texture to tailored seating or compact accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
