Voltaire Mousse

Voltaire FabricM4130-15

Voltaire Mousse is shown here as a deep, shaded olive with a quietly mottled surface and a soft matte look. The colour reads dark and earthy rather than bright green, giving the fabric a grounded, tailored feel.

About this fabric

This colourway has a low-key, mossy olive depth, with subtle tonal movement visible across the weave rather than a flat finish. The surface looks tactile and lightly textured, which suits the fabric's composition of 42% Cotton, 38% Viscose, 15% Polyester and 5% Linen. With an approximate width of 140cm and no repeat both vertically and horizontally, it is straightforward to plan for upholstery or lined drapery. The dark green-brown cast keeps the design smart and understated, while the fibre mix should give it a supple but durable handle.

How to use it

Use Voltaire Mousse to bring warmth to walnut wood, aged brass and natural plaster, where its olive depth will read calm and tailored. It is especially effective on an armchair, bench or full-length curtain when you want colour that feels rich but not showy.

A restrained olive tone that works well across tailored seating and lined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
