Velours Moorea Sable

Velours Tosca FabricM4094-01

Velours Moorea Sable shows a warm sable beige ground scattered with a pale, pebble-like abstract motif. The surface has the soft, light-catching look you expect from a velour, with a gentle tonal contrast rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

Velours Moorea Sable from the Velours Tosca collection by Manuel Canovas is woven in 92% viscose and 8% polyester, with a width of approximately 136cm and a repeat of V 20cm / H 17cm approx. The fabric reads as a warm beige-sable with creamy patterning, so the design feels textured and quietly decorative rather than high-contrast. Its velvety finish softens the small abstract motif and gives the colourway an understated glow in the light. With its fabric construction and plush look, it is best suited to upholstery where a refined, softly patterned surface is wanted.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa, armchair or ottoman to bring gentle warmth without overpowering other finishes. It pairs especially well with pale oak, linen whites and deeper caramel accents.

A soft sable ground with pale patterning that feels refined and easy to layer.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Velours Moorea Sable without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
