Velours Tosca Terracotta

Velours Tosca FabricM4095-08

Velours Tosca Terracotta is a tiny check fabric with a warm, sunbaked look and a softly textured surface. The close grid gives it a lively, almost pixel-like rhythm in the weave.

About this fabric

Woven in 92% viscose and 8% polyester, this fabric has a refined, velvety handle that suits upholstery beautifully. The repeat is small at approximately V 1.5cm / H 2cm, which keeps the terracotta-and-cream check crisp and steady across the cloth. At roughly 138cm wide, it is practical for seating and decorative pieces where the compact pattern can read from close range. The colourway combines earthy terracotta with lighter biscuit tones, giving it a warm but not overly saturated appearance. Its overall effect is textured, inviting, and distinctly grounded.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, bench, or dining seat where the small-scale check can bring warmth without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with natural woods, plaster pinks, and muted neutrals that let the terracotta tone stand out.

A lively terracotta check that adds warmth without feeling overly bold.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Velours Tosca Terracotta without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
