Viggo Manganese
Viggo FabricM4132-08
Viggo Manganese reads as a warm, quietly mottled weave in rose clay and muted terracotta tones. The surface has a small, tactile texture that gives the colour extra depth without looking busy.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a finely textured plain weave with a soft, speckled finish rather than a strong pattern, so the interest comes from the yarn mixture and the way the tones settle across the surface. The supplied composition of 39% viscose, 37% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester gives it a natural, textile-led handle, while the 140cm approx width makes it practical for a range of interior uses. With zero repeat vertically and horizontally, it presents as a clean, continuous cloth that is well suited to tailored upholstery or relaxed drapery projects. Manganese is a subdued rosy brown with clay and taupe undertones, so it feels warmer and softer than a true red and less earthy than a typical terracotta.
How to use it
Use it on a curved armchair, a cushion scheme or curtains where the muted terracotta tone can warm pale plaster, stone or oak. It pairs especially well with chalky neutrals, tobacco leather and darker bronze accents.
A warm, textured neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and soft furnishing schemes.

Pairs well with
Viggo Manganese is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
