Velours Moorea Bois de Rose

Velours Tosca FabricM4094-06

Velours Moorea Bois de Rose reads as a soft, dusty rose terracotta with a lively all-over abstract texture. The small-scale pattern gives the velvet surface a mottled, hand-worked feel rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric from the Velours Tosca collection is composed of 92% viscose and 8% polyester, with an approximate width of 136cm and a repeat of V 20cm / H 17cm. The surface in this colourway blends muted pink, rose and warm terracotta notes, so the pattern feels rich but not overly bright. Its closely packed abstract motif creates a velvety depth that catches the light softly, making the shade look slightly warmer in some areas and more chalky in others. With no special performance features noted and a √BM fire code, it is best considered as a decorative upholstery velvet with a refined, tactile finish.

How to use it

Use this colourway to warm up walnut, oak or brass detailing, where the dusty rose tone can soften the harder lines of a room. It also works well as a statement accent on an armchair or ottoman, especially against cream or olive surroundings.

A warm, textured rose tone that adds pattern without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Velours Moorea Bois de Rose without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
