Viggo Opale

Viggo FabricM4132-14

Viggo Opale is a softly lit, pale grey colourway with an opaline cast and a fine, even woven texture. The close weave gives the surface a calm, understated finish with just enough grain to feel refined.

About this fabric

This plain-woven fabric from the Viggo collection by Manuel Canovas is composed of 39% viscose, 37% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, and it measures approximately 140cm wide. The cloth reads as a cool, muted opal grey, with tiny tonal flecks that soften the overall look and stop the surface from feeling flat. Its compact weave and dry, lightly slubbed texture give it a smart, versatile character suited to upholstery or drapery. With no repeat to manage, it is especially easy to use across larger pieces where the subtle texture can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use Opale when you want a pale neutral that feels cleaner than beige but warmer than a hard grey. It pairs well with chalk whites, limestone tones and brushed metal finishes, and brings a quiet lift to slip seats, curtains and headboards.

A quiet opal tone that works neatly across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
