Montreal Grey/Charcoal

Archive IV The Collector Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0065-03

Montreal Grey/Charcoal presents an intricate botanical composition over a cool, misted grey ground. Charcoal-blue foliage, chalky cream leaves and restrained ochre accents give the design a softly weathered, archival character.

About this fabric

The wallpaper is built around a large central botanical motif, with curling stems, layered leaves and smaller scattered blooms picked out in charcoal, cream, muted blue-grey and warm tan. Its cool grey background keeps the overall colourway subdued, while the darker charcoal details give the pattern depth without making it feel stark. The vertical pattern repeat is 61 cm, with a usable width of 52 cm and a standard length of 10.05 m. At 158 gsm, this is a substantial decorative wallcovering with a richly detailed surface appearance.

How to use it

Use Montreal Grey/Charcoal across a study, hallway or bedroom where its cool grey depth can balance warm timber, aged brass and cream upholstery. Keep surrounding tones softly chalky to highlight the charcoal foliage and small ochre botanical touches.

The cool grey ground and charcoal botanical detailing create a softly aged, formal backdrop for classic or collected interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
