Hoy Mineral is a pale mineral greige woven fabric with a calm, softly mottled surface. Its fine vertical grain gives the light neutral shade subtle depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The fabric has a substantial 605 gsm weight and a tightly formed texture measuring 34.6 threads per centimetre, making it well suited to upholstery. Its 141.5 cm usable width offers practical coverage for furnishing work, while the 25 m standard length supports larger projects. There is no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, so the quiet plain weave can be handled without motif matching. In this colourway, cool grey undertones temper the warmth of the greige base, while the lightly textured surface catches the light in restrained shifts rather than a pronounced sheen.

How to use it

Use Hoy Mineral on a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its cool, pale greige tone can soften stronger timber, stone or charcoal accents. Pair it with chalky whites and brushed metal for a quiet modern scheme, or layer it with deeper taupes to bring out the weave's subtle depth.

A substantial, softly textured neutral for tailored upholstery and understated contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
