About this fabric

The plain surface is defined by fine vertical yarn movement rather than a printed motif, giving this colourway a calm, tactile depth. Its ochre tone is earthy and lightly golden, with a softened brightness that avoids looking sharply yellow. At 605 gsm and 141.5 cm usable width, it has the substantial presence expected of a heavy upholstery weave. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, confirming the surface is non-directional and plain.

How to use it

Use Hoy Ochre on a sofa, armchair or dining chair to bring a warm, sunlit note to a room, balancing it with dark timber, aged leather or cooler stone shades.

Use this warm ochre weave on upholstered seating where its fine vertical texture can add quiet depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
