About this fabric

The woven surface combines muted taupe, warm beige and soft grey threads, creating gentle tonal variation rather than a sharp contrast between ground and motif. Small birds, foliage and curling floral forms run across the cloth in a dense repeat, with the fine texture visible through the pale colourway. At 810 gsm and 59.6 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery. It has a usable width of 137.5 cm, a standard length of 25 m, and a pattern repeat of 46 cm vertically by 34.5 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use this mineral taupe colourway on a reading chair, footstool or compact sofa where its cool, softened tone can sit alongside chalky neutrals, weathered timber and aged brass. The low-contrast pattern also works well as a refined counterpoint to plainer upholstery.
