About this fabric

This Morris & Co. colourway has a warm, subdued bark ground, with closely packed floral tracery appearing in pale beige, cream and softly golden brown. The small 11.5 cm vertical and horizontal repeat creates an even, highly detailed texture across the cloth rather than a bold, isolated motif. At 464 gsm, with 57.9 threads per cm, it has the substantial woven presence expected of an upholstery fabric. The 140 cm usable width and 35 m standard length provide practical coverage for furniture projects.

How to use it

Use this warm bark taupe on a traditional armchair, dining chair or footstool where its small-scale floral detail can read as texture from a distance. Pair it with dark wood, aged brass and muted cream textiles to draw out the pale highlights in the weave.
