About this fabric

The russet colourway combines a subdued red-brown base with lighter tan and muted cream detailing in the repeating bellflower and scrolling foliage motif. Its compact 11.5cm vertical and horizontal repeat creates an almost continuous field of small-scale ornament, rather than a single dominant bloom. At 464gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a tactile woven appearance that gives the colour depth as the light moves across it. The 140cm usable width and 57.9 threads per centimetre complete the supplied specification for this densely patterned cloth.

How to use it

Use the warm, slightly weathered russet tone to upholster a traditional armchair, dining chair or ottoman, pairing it with aged timber, warm neutrals and darker brown accents. Its small repeat also makes it effective across several upholstered pieces without introducing a large, high-contrast focal pattern.

Use this warm russet weave on upholstered chairs, sofas or ottomans where its detailed floral repeat can add depth without dominating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
