About this fabric

This substantial 625 gsm fabric shows an intricate all-over botanical weave, with fine leafy tracery and curling stems picked out in darker flint tones. The 34.2 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the surface a closely worked, textured appearance rather than a flat printed look. Its vertical pattern repeat is 67.5 cm and the horizontal repeat is 70.5 cm, useful details when aligning the scrolling design across upholstery panels. With a 141 cm usable width and a standard 25 m length, it is particularly well suited to furniture where the muted taupe-grey colour can provide a grounded, heritage-led finish.

How to use it

Use Flint on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat alongside charcoal, putty and warm oak. The cool taupe-grey tone also works well with aged leather and antique metallic accents, which bring out the darker botanical tracery.

Pair the weathered taupe-grey ground with dark timber, aged brass and softly contrasting neutrals.
