Thistle Weave Bronze

Lethaby Weaves FabricMOF0130-03

Thistle Weave Bronze has a warm, muted bronze-taupe ground with fine branching botanical forms woven across its surface. The low-contrast motif is softened by a visible crosshatch texture, giving the colourway a gently weathered depth.

About this fabric

This substantial woven textile weighs 625 gsm and has 34.2 threads per cm, giving the surface a dense, tactile appearance suited to upholstery. In the image, delicate stems and leaf-like forms emerge in slightly lighter and darker bronze tones rather than as a sharply outlined print. The design has a 67.5 cm vertical repeat and a 70.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the fine botanical detail builds into an all-over field across larger pieces. It is supplied at a 141 cm usable width in a standard 25 m length.

How to use it

Use this warm bronze-taupe colourway on a classic armchair, sofa or dining seat where its quiet botanical pattern can sit comfortably with oak, walnut, aged brass and softly coloured walls. Its muted depth also makes it a useful grounding textile for layered, tonal rooms.

A substantial bronze-taupe botanical weave with quiet texture, suited to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
