Lethaby Weave Indigo

Lethaby Weaves FabricMOF0118-01

Lethaby Weave Indigo has a cool, muted blue-teal ground with a finely worked chevron texture visible across the face of the cloth. Its restrained pattern gives the deep colour quiet movement rather than a high-contrast graphic effect.

About this fabric

This is a substantial woven fabric at 579gsm, with 57.6 threads per cm giving the surface a compact, finely textured appearance. The indigo shade leans towards blue-teal in the light, while the small repeating chevron catches subtly across the weave to create depth without gloss. It has a 142cm usable width and a 25m standard length. The pattern repeat measures 23.5cm vertically by 18cm horizontally, making the understated motif practical to align on upholstery.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo-teal on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its dense weave can read as tailored and architectural. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber or oxidised brass to balance the blue depth without flattening its finely textured surface.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
