Oak Teal/Slate

Melsetter Fabric & Weaves FabricMOF0124-02

Oak Teal/Slate shows a densely packed field of oak leaves and curling stems in muted olive and sage tones, set against a deep teal-slate ground. The close botanical drawing gives this colourway a cool, quietly atmospheric depth.

About this fabric

The woven surface combines a dark blue-green ground with softly contrasting olive foliage, allowing the leaf edges to emerge without becoming bright or sharp. At 252 gsm and 38 threads per cm, it has a substantial mid-weight presence with a visibly detailed, closely worked texture. The usable width is 138 cm, matching the 138 cm horizontal pattern repeat, while the vertical repeat is 60 cm. Its balanced weight and dense all-over design make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Oak Teal/Slate on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains where its cool teal depth can anchor a room. Bring out the muted oak tones with walnut, olive textiles, aged brass and warm neutral walls.

Pair the cool dark ground with warm oak, natural linen and aged brass for a balanced, layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
