About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 710gsm and has a compact construction of 18 threads per centimetre, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. The surface shifts between charcoal, grey-taupe and small warm beige flecks as the light catches the fine zigzag weave. With a 140cm usable width, a 35m standard length and a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it offers straightforward cutting for tailored applications. Brunswick Slate reads as a restrained, cool-leaning neutral with enough tonal variation to avoid looking flat.

How to use it

Use Brunswick Slate on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its muted slate-taupe tone can balance pale oak, smoked timber and warm stone. Pair it with soft ivory or dusty blue accents to bring out the cooler grey threads without losing the weave’s earthy warmth.
