Bullerswood Paprika/Gold

Archive IV The Collector Fabrics FabricMOF0079-01

Bullerswood Paprika/Gold presents an intricate, symmetrical arrangement of curling vines, birds and flowers against a deep paprika-red ground. Gold-beige highlights and dark outlining give the design a richly layered, tapestry-like appearance.

About this fabric

The saturated paprika red reads warm and softly earthy rather than bright, while gold, muted cream and deep charcoal-green details define the scrolling foliage and paired birds. A central floral medallion anchors the mirrored composition, with smaller paisley-like blooms and a framed border adding visual depth. At 430 gsm, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery, with 68 threads per centimetre contributing to its densely detailed surface. The design has a 107.2 cm vertical repeat and 138.4 cm horizontal repeat across its 138.4 cm usable width.

How to use it

Use the warm paprika ground on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with aged timber, dark painted furniture and brushed brass to draw out the gold accents. Keep surrounding plains quiet so the large-scale birds, vines and medallion remain the room’s focal point.

Use this richly coloured upholstery to bring warm, historic pattern and substantial visual depth to statement seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bullerswood Paprika/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
