About this fabric

The surface is softly mottled, with delicate tonal shifts across the taupe-grey ground that become more noticeable as the light moves over it. With a weight of 300 gsm, Alvar Cobble has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 144 cm usable width and 35 m standard length make it practical for furnishing projects, while the zero-centimetre vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm its plain, non-directional character. Its restrained colour and low-contrast texture create depth without competing with surrounding furnishings.

How to use it

Pair this warm, powdery taupe-grey with chalky whites, putty neutrals and pale oak for a softly tonal room. It also works as a calm upholstered base against darker walnut or charcoal accents.
