Layton Cobblestone

Layton Fabric

Layton Cobblestone has a softly weathered taupe-grey ground with a fine, closely woven herringbone visible across the surface. Its restrained contrast gives the swatch a calm, textural character rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

The small chevron-like weave is built from closely alternating light and dark threads, creating a subtle broken texture across the fabric. This colourway sits between warm grey and muted taupe, with a cobblestone depth that avoids looking either stark or brown. The low-contrast pattern reads evenly from a distance, while the fine weave becomes more apparent up close. Its composed, tactile appearance makes it suitable for upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Layton Cobblestone to soften a room built around warm whites, stone and charcoal, or pair its taupe-grey tone with natural timber and darker brown accents. The fine herringbone adds interest without competing with stronger patterns.

A quiet taupe-grey herringbone that brings subtle woven definition to upholstery, curtains and tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
