About this fabric

This colourway shifts between mossy mid-green and deeper olive tones, creating a cool, softened interpretation of chive rather than a bright or saturated green. Subtle surface variation catches the light unevenly, giving the plain cloth quiet depth and a softly textured finish. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it offers enough visual substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The supplied 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm a plain, non-directional layout, with a standard length of 35 m.

How to use it

Use Alvar Chive on a relaxed sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtains where its subdued green can bring depth without dominating the room. It works especially well with warm oak, stone neutrals and softly aged metal finishes.

Pair the muted chive tone with warm timber, natural linens and aged brass for a grounded, quietly layered scheme.
