About this fabric

This Harlequin fabric has a substantial 394gsm weight and a closely set weave of 17 threads per centimetre, giving the surface a firm, tactile presence suited to upholstery. The small-scale crosshatch is created by the interlacing threads rather than a printed motif, so the design remains visually quiet while retaining texture. At 143cm usable width, Mineral Templeton offers a generous plain ground for upholstered furniture. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut without aligning a recurring design.

How to use it

Use this warm mineral taupe-grey on a tailored sofa, armchair or ottoman where its restrained crosshatch can soften clean-lined forms without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky whites, weathered timber and deeper charcoal accents to draw out the shade’s muted depth.

A substantial taupe-grey weave that brings quiet texture to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
