Acorn Chalk

Lethaby Weaves FabricMOF0121-03

Acorn Chalk presents a delicate botanical pattern in layered chalk and warm ivory, with fine stems and foliage merging into a softly textured ground. Its low-contrast colouring gives the design a light, almost drawn quality.

About this fabric

This substantial 464 gsm woven fabric shows densely arranged botanical sprigs, with the pale motif only slightly lifted from the chalky ivory background. The warm off-white tone remains muted rather than bright, allowing the fine foliage to read through gentle tonal variation instead of sharp contrast. A 67 cm vertical repeat and 71.5 cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a clear, measured rhythm across the 143 cm usable width. With 55 threads per centimetre, the close weave supports its upholstery classification and gives the surface a composed, tailored presence.

How to use it

Use Acorn Chalk on a traditional armchair, dining seat or occasional sofa where its warm ivory tone can soften darker timber and painted furniture. Pair it with oat, stone and faded sage accents to retain its quiet, botanical character.

Use this pale, quietly detailed weave to bring traditional botanical character to upholstery without adding strong colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
