About this fabric

The fabric has a softly luminous cream base, overlaid with muted bayleaf and warm beige embroidery that reads as delicate rather than strongly contrasted. Its repeated sprig motif measures 11.5 cm vertically by 12 cm horizontally, giving the surface a compact botanical rhythm. At 220 gsm and 134.5 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery and drapery applications. The 86 threads per centimetre contribute to the neat, finely textured appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use this warm cream and bayleaf colourway where a room needs botanical interest without a dark or dominant pattern—on an occasional chair, relaxed Roman blind or layered cushion. Pair it with pale woods, oat textiles and muted olive accents to bring out the embroidery’s soft green-gold depth.

The warm Manilla ground and fine bayleaf embroidery bring a softly tailored botanical detail to upholstery, cushions or window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
