Acorn Bayleaf

Lethaby Weaves FabricMOF0121-05

Acorn Bayleaf is a quietly luminous woven fabric, with fine scrolling leaves and floral forms drawn in warm ivory across a pale cream-beige ground. The close tonal contrast gives the botanical pattern depth without making the surface feel busy.

About this fabric

This substantial 464gsm fabric has a softly textured woven appearance, visible in the delicate variation between its light ground and slightly brighter botanical motifs. The repeating design combines curling stems, pointed leaves and small floral details in a restrained cream-and-beige palette. Its 67cm vertical repeat and 71.5cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a clear, considered rhythm across an upholstered surface. With a 143cm usable width and 55 threads per cm, Acorn Bayleaf is a dense textile suited to structured upholstery work.

How to use it

Use this pale cream-beige colourway on a statement armchair, dining chair or headboard where its intricate ivory foliage can be seen at close range. Pair it with warm oak, chalky painted timber and muted natural tones to preserve its gentle, light-catching character.

A softly tonal botanical weave that brings gentle pattern and an upholstered, tactile presence to seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
