About this fabric

Fine leafy sprigs overlap across the surface, with narrow stems, feathery leaves and occasional berry-like dots picked out in a muted sage-taupe shade. Against the rice-paper cream ground, the pattern reads softly rather than sharply, giving the colourway a quiet, slightly washed quality. The wallpaper has a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 52 cm usable width, with a standard length of 10.05 m. At 198 gsm, it has a substantial paper specification suited to creating a continuous botanical backdrop.

How to use it

Use Rice Paper in bedrooms, hallways or softly lit sitting rooms alongside warm white paint, pale oak and natural linen. Its restrained cream-and-sage contrast works especially well where you want botanical detail without a strong colour statement.

Use this softly contrasting cream and sage botanical for calm, light-filled rooms where the leafy repeat can provide quiet pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
