The Savaric Cirrus

About this wallpaper

This Morris & Co. wallpaper is defined by its contrast between the pale, chalky blue motifs and the warm off-white background, giving the design an airy, gently faded character. The large-scale repeat brings together branching trees, fine outlined leaves and rounded curling forms, with dark blue areas adding depth beneath the lighter shapes. It has a 38cm vertical pattern repeat and a 0cm horizontal repeat, with a 68.6cm usable width. The standard length is 10.05m and the supplied weight is 156gsm.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-and-cream colourway across a bedroom, hallway or reading room where its intricate woodland pattern can be appreciated at close range. Balance the pale Cirrus tone with warm timber, natural linen or softly aged brass rather than strong, saturated accents.

A cool, pale blue and cream woodland repeat that brings graphic botanical detail to walls without a heavy colour weight.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside The Savaric Cirrus without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
