Emery’s Willow Woad Blue brings a cool, softly weathered blue to a densely repeating botanical design. Fine blue stems and pointed leaves are set against a warm ivory ground, giving the swatch a gentle, lightly chalky contrast.

About this fabric

The fabric has a 139 cm usable width and a 58 cm vertical by 70 cm horizontal pattern repeat, allowing the layered foliage to read as an all-over surface. Its muted woad-blue leaves have a slightly faded, blue-grey quality rather than a bright or saturated finish, while the ivory background keeps the pattern light. At 265 gsm with 35.6 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial but finely textured handle visible across the swatch. A 60 m standard length is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-and-ivory colourway on a reading-room chair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains, balancing its busy foliage with plain warm neutrals and natural wood.
