Blackthorn Weave Indigo

Indoor Outdoor Weaves OutdoorMOF0220-01

Blackthorn Weave Indigo brings a cool, deep indigo ground to a densely drawn Morris & Co. floral, with ochre blooms, sage foliage and softly contrasting blue-grey leaves. The intricate surface reads richly layered rather than flat, with small pale flowers and pink accents emerging through the dark ground.

About this fabric

At 570gsm, this Outdoor fabric has the substantial presence expected of a hard-wearing upholstery weave. Its 136cm usable width accommodates the generous 83.5cm vertical and 68cm horizontal pattern repeats, allowing the scrolling botanicals and larger floral groupings to be positioned with care. The deep indigo base gives the colourway a cool, nocturnal mood, while mustard-ochre flowers, muted sage stems, blue-grey foliage and occasional blush petals add depth without losing its tonal richness. With 112 threads per cm, the closely woven construction supports the detailed character of the design.

How to use it

Use Blackthorn Weave Indigo on outdoor seating or statement upholstery where its cool, inky ground can anchor cushions and accessories in ochre, sage, faded pink and blue-grey. It also suits a richly patterned chair or banquette in a room that benefits from botanical depth and a more formal mood.

Pair this cool indigo ground with warm ochre, sage and soft pink accents for a richly layered outdoor setting.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
