About this fabric

This outdoor fabric has a substantial 640 gsm weight and a useable width of 138 cm, making it well suited to hard-wearing upholstery. The indigo ground reads deep and slightly softened rather than bright, while the blue-grey woven pattern catches the light across the flowers, leaves and birds. The design has a 78 cm vertical repeat and a 32 cm horizontal repeat, creating a richly continuous botanical surface on larger pieces. With 57 threads per cm and a standard 25 m length, it offers a dense, finely detailed weave for coordinated upholstery work.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway on a statement armchair, window seat or sofa where its blue-grey botanical detail can provide the room’s visual depth. Pair it with chalky whites, aged timber and muted denim, or warm the scheme with brass and walnut.

A richly patterned indigo outdoor weave that brings cool, botanical depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bird & Anemone Weave Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
