About this fabric

Repeated phrases including “THE BEAUTY OF LIFE” sit among fine botanical illustrations in this pale indigo colourway. Its blue is cool and softly muted rather than deep or saturated, with the white ground allowing the intricate leaves and lettering to remain crisp. The fabric has a usable width of 137 cm, a 51.5 cm vertical repeat and a 137 cm horizontal repeat. At 188 gsm with 36.2 threads per cm, it is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Pair this cool indigo-and-white colourway with chalky whites, natural timber and gentle grey-blue accents. It works particularly well on a reading-room chair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains where the repeated words and foliage can be appreciated.

Use this cool, pale indigo design to bring literary character and delicate botanical detail to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
