About this fabric

This plain velvet has a substantial 540 gsm weight and a 141 cm usable width, making it well suited to upholstery. Its dense surface appears smooth and tactile in the image, with no visible motif or pattern repeat. The indigo tone is cool and richly saturated, while the pile catches broad bands of lighter blue across the folds. That changing sheen gives the colour depth without introducing a contrasting design.

How to use it

Use this deep indigo blue on a generous armchair, sofa or footstool where its plush surface can catch the light. Pair it with pale greys, chalky neutrals or warm timber to balance the shade’s cool depth.
