About this fabric

This is a substantial velvet weighing 540 gsm, with a 141 cm usable width suited to upholstery projects. The dense, even surface appears plain at close range, while the directional pile creates lighter and darker bands across the draped swatch. In this Magenta colourway, the shade reads as a deep, cool-leaning berry pink with a dramatic, softly lustrous finish. There is no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the colour remains uninterrupted across the cloth.

How to use it

Use this deep berry magenta on an occasional chair, sofa or headboard where its plush surface and shifting tonal highlights can become the focal point. Pair it with warm timber, smoked metal or quieter neutral upholstery to balance the saturated colour.
