About this fabric

Performance Velvets Hydrangea is a solid, cool blue velvet with a soft hydrangea cast, visible as a fine, even pile across the swatch. Its surface shifts from pale powder blue to deeper slate-blue as the nap and light change, giving the plain cloth gentle tonal movement. Supplied at 141 cm wide and 540 gsm, it has the substantial weight suited to upholstery. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut without matching a motif.

How to use it

Use this cool, powder-blue colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its silvery nap can catch changing light. It works especially well with pale neutrals, soft grey and warm timber, which balance the blue’s crisp, airy character.
